Connie Dwyer Breast Center Grand Opening
Connie Dwyer officially opened the Connie Dwyer Breast Center at Trinitas on October 1, 2018 to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Over 125 guests attended the opening, including Gary S. Horan President and CEO of Trinitas and his leadership team, J. Christian Bollwage Mayor, City of Elizabeth, Board Members of the Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation, Trinitas Health Foundation, Doctors, breast center staff and most importantly the donors who made the breast center possible. A special guest appearance by Grammy Award Winning Artist, Gloria Gaynor topped off the celebration singing “I Will Survive”. Click here to see pictures from the event.

Embrace Hope October 20th 2017
Guests were greeted at Embrace Hope by a red carpet as they arrived. They shared their joy and excitement over the foundation’s commitment to open a Connie Dwyer Breast Center at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The evening’s celebration was a great success and enjoyed by all.
During dinner, guests were treated to a glimpse of the wonderful professionals at Trinitas Regional Medical Center as they get ready to open their very own Connie Dwyer Breast Center!
Embrace Hope 2017 Honorees
Pictured here are Diane Alecci and Lynn Blanchard from Morgan Stanley and Pat McGowan from Neiman Marcus, the Mall at Short Hills, who are being honored for their generous support and dedication to women’s health at our annual Embrace Hope dinner dance and auction. This year’s corporate honoree is Pat McGowan, Vice-President and General Manager at Neiman Marcus, The Mall at Short Hills. Pat is being honored for taking the lead in promoting the foundation’s mission and lending support throughout the organization. The event will take place on Friday, October 20, 2017 at The Grove in Cedar Grove, New Jersey.
Our Embrace Hope dinner dance is the largest fundraising event of the year for the Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation. Attended by over 375 guests the foundation nets over $400,000 through a silent auction featuring the finest in luxury items and an outstanding live auction with one-of-a-kind trips and experiences.

Spring Luncheon 2017
This year our annual Spring Luncheon was held on April 20th at the Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, New Jersey. Over 250 guests attended to hear Pulitzer-Prize winning correspondent from the Washington Post, Kevin Sullivan speak. He and his wife Mary Jordan, also a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist with the Post, are authors of the number #1 bestselling book, Hope: A Memoir of Survival in Cleveland, that was released in April, 2015. Sullivan discussed how he and Jordan approached the sensitive nature of writing the book along with Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus, the two women who were kidnapped and held for a decade in Cleveland, Jordan’s hometown.
The Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation annual Spring Luncheon series offers a chance for friends to get together and hear pertinent speakers discuss interesting topics. The date of the Spring Luncheon for 2018 has not been announced yet. Please check here after the first of the year.
