Through our sponsored facilities, the Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation serves underprivileged and vulnerable women by ensuring the availability of top-quality breast-health services that include screening, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care. The Foundation provides financial assistance to programs and needs deemed most crucial to the health and wellbeing of patients and offers collaborative support to provide resources, education, advocacy and empowerment to the women we serve.

Connie Dwyer Breast Center at Trinitas

The Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation partnered with Trinitas Regional Medical Center to build a Connie Dwyer Breast Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The new centered opened its doors on October 1, 2018. Connie is thankful to those who have embraced her life-saving mission. The new state-of-the-art breast center provides the latest equipment and services available to provide all women with top-quality breast care from screening to diagnosis to treatment.

Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation Awards $10,000 Grant to the Jewish Renaissance Foundation

The Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation (CDBCF) is proud to award a $10,000 grant to the Jewish Renaissance Foundation (JRF), supporting their efforts through May 2026. This funding will enhance breast cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment services at the JRF Community Health Center in Edison, NJ, helping to ensure critical care reaches those who need it most. New Mobile Mammography Unit

University Hospital is thrilled to launch our new Mobile Mammography Unit, made possible by the generous support of the Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation!

This incredible mobile unit will be hitting the roads of Newark and Essex County, bringing life-saving breast cancer screenings directly to our communities. With 40 weeks per year dedicated to screenings, we aim to reach and screen 4,000 patients annually. Early detection is key, and together, we’re on a mission to catch breast cancer sooner and provide timely, life-saving treatments. Together, we’re making a difference and saving lives. READ MORE >
