Celebrating 15 years since our first breast center with our Embrace Hope Fitness Challenge!

Monday, August 17, 2020

Join us in celebrating 15 years since CDBCF opened our first breast center at St. Michael’s by taking on the Embrace Hope Fitness Challenge! Register for the two-month (August 17th – October 5th) 150 miles in 8 weeks challenge and track your progress through the FREE Strava app.

Did you know that Scientific studies have shown that regular exercise can reduce the risk of breast cancer and improve breast cancer survivors’ longevity and quality of life? You can participate in the Embrace Hope Challenge either individually or with a team of friends or family — simply register on our site with your email and you’ll receive information about using Strava as an individual or as a team!

Invite friends, family, neighbors, and community members to complete about 2-3 miles a day and educate others about the Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation and about the importance of yearly mammograms in decreasing the risk of cancer.

We will conclude the challenge by celebrating your hard work at our annual Embrace Hope gala, held virtually at www.cdbcf.org on October 8, 2020!

Get out there, get fit, and have fun!
